Overview
We are looking for a Behavioral Health Consultant to advocate and help assigned patients gain access to resources while confronting their medical and behavioral issues, provide patients with recommendations and behavioral interventions.
Our client is offering the following pay rate and benefits:
- $65,000 – $75,000+ Based On Experience

Responsibilities:
- Monday-Friday
- Maintains a presence and active communication to the Primary Care Providers (PCPs) during clinic operating hours.
- Available for brief interventions by being in the clinic.
- Available for same day and scheduled initial interventions with patients.
- Performs brief, limited follow-up visits for selected patients. Whenever possible, refers patients to appropriate community mental health sites.
- May provide occasional intensive case management and traditional medical social work services such as referral management and coordination, acquiring durable medical goods, and patient advocacy.
Requirements:
- LCSW, LMHC, (LMHCA only if approved for state LMHC exam) LMFT or LCAC
- PH. D and APA certification (not required but highly preferred)
- 1-2 years experience of post-degree clinical experience
- Additional primary-care experience (not required but highly preferred)
