Our client is a full-service MEP/FP engineering and construction management firm with specialized expertise in a diverse range of institution and facility types, including Academic, Healthcare and Science & Technology. We are growing in exciting ways and are currently seeking to add an experienced Senior Project Manager to manage a portfolio of healthcare projects throughout the Northeast region. This is a hybrid/flexible position based out of our Woburn, MA office.

The senior project manager manages all healthcare client portfolios and projects from initial client contact through execution of project work and development of future client bookings. This person is responsible for leading Market project team(s) to execute project goals to meet client expectations and plays a key role in the firm’s overall client management and business development. As market leader, this person will work with the Client Service Group leadership and other firm leaders to implement strategies for the healthcare market.

What the Senior Project Manager does:

1.Responsible for market business strategies, execution of strategies, and financial performance of market and client portfolios.

2.Responsible for market business development goals (sales) and efforts to achieve goals.

3.Responsible for proposals, contractual agreements, and understanding of client portfolio and project requirements.

4.Leads project managers to develop execution strategies and provides guidance and support for effective client relationships.

5.Ensures client service excellence and quality standards of the firm.

6.Ensures effective and professional service delivery with the highest levels of ethics and professionalism.

7.Reviews invoices before distribution to clients and assists in collection of past-due accounts receivable.

8.Oversees and mentors project managers to ensure proper coordination and monitoring of client services, along with the Client Service Group leadership, participates in selection and development of personnel within project team(s), and evaluates personnel within team.

9.Contributes ideas and recommends improvements during leadership meetings, strategic planning, and business development meetings

 

Qualifications:

1.10+ years Engineering experience (preferably in a consulting firm)

2.5+ years Project Management/Management experience

3.Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution

4.Experience working with an ERP system (Deltek preferred)

5.Must have a general understanding of building MEP/FP systems, including plumbing, fire protection, heating, ventilating, air conditioning, electrical systems and special systems. Must be able to draw on teams’ technical staff as necessary to answer client questions and concerns.

6.Institutional engineering and design experience (Market based as applicable)

7.Must have a proven track record of successfully managing a portfolio of clients and projects.

8.Must have proven track record of management level commitment and successfully contributing to the strategic planning and growth of a market.

9.Must possess strategic thinking abilities and the capability to drive growth and successful business results

10.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, fellow principals and clients

11.Customer Relationship Management: ability to relate to clients and employees in a mature, thoughtful, professional, and pleasant manner.
