Overview

The Territory Manager, Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASC’s), Physician Offices/Clinics, and Recovery is responsible for the development and execution of the sales plan for the assigned territory. This position will be expected to effectively utilize the company’s resources and position the company’s products to meet sales and customer satisfaction objectives to new and existing customers in ASC’s, Physician Offices/Clinics, Urgent Care Clinics, and Recovery markets.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develops and converts new customers to the company’s products and solutions in ASC’s, Physician’s Offices/Clinics, and Recovery markets to achieve assigned sales quota, while also developing new assigned market opportunities for the company’s Pulse Co-Oximetry solutions;
  • Generates a sales pipeline and develops key targets (ASCs, Physicians, Recovery) for assigned territory to meet or exceed monthly sales quota;
  • Works with Region Director, Clinical Support staff, Sr. VP of US Alternate Care Sales, and the company’s local area team members to ensure growth in the PO, ASC, and Recovery market by adding new customers for all markets, through sales of all the company’s products and solutions. Achieves established MBO’s quarterly and yearly;
  • Completes assignments, reports and all administration tasks in a timely and professional manner; has familiarity with Salesforce.
  • Provides as required product and solution training to ASC’s, Physician Offices/Clinics, and Recovery;
  • Train, support, and provide appropriate attention for contracted distribution representatives to convert their customers to the company’s products;
  • Collaborate with the company’s extended sales teams (Inside Sales Representatives (ISRs), acute care sales team members, managers, national accounts, etc.) to accelerate the adoption and opportunities that exist in PO, ASC, and Recovery markets;
  • Sell the company’s Pulse Oximetry and Pulse CO-Oximetry devices and accessories to ASC’s, Physician’s Offices, and Recovery in defined territories; Channels subject to change as annual strategic plans change;
  • Build positive relationships with the company’s clinical support group and hospital account teams to support Alternate Care business through a Continuum of Care market penetration strategy;
  • Meet or exceed sales objectives set forth in assigned Territory through sales of the company’s products and solutions in all PO, ASC, and Recovery channels;
  • Interface with all product managers to stay up to date with all products and new releases;
  • Travel in a multi-state territory, up to 50 to 80% of the time;
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40lbs;
  • Performs special projects as requested;

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3 or more years of successful and documented experience selling Medical Device solutions to Acute care or ASC’s, Physician Offices/Clinics, and Recovery markets
  • Experience calling on Anesthesiologists, CRNAs, Surgeons, Respiratory Therapists, Nurses, Procurement, and Administration;
  • Experience in the strategic sales planning and execution;
  • Ability to develop new relationships and successfully manage existing customers in the ASC/PO/Recovery marketplace and educate/train customers in specific the company’s Technology.
  • Organized and detail-oriented with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Very strong written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong PC skills including MS Office applications (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint);
  • Experience and proven ability to effectively lead productive conference call discussions and develop internal partnerships;
  • Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and ability to thrive in the fast-paced environment of teamwork and constant change;
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines with a ‘whatever it takes’ philosophy;
  • Must be able to communicate professionally and effectively with management, executives, internal staff, peers, outside Sales Reps and customers;
  • Must be able to travel up to 50 to 80% of the time;
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 40lbs;

Preferred Qualifications

  • Sales experience with high technology healthcare solutions, involving complex sales processes requiring significant differentiation to many decision-makers and influencers;
  • Successful sales experience in ASC, Operating Room (OR) marketplace.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM.

Education
Bachelor’s degree, Significant experience, or Clinical Credential is required.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

  • This position primarily works in a field sales environment.
  • It requires frequent sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Daily use of a computer and other computing and digital devices is required.
  • May stand for extended periods when facilitating meetings or walking in the facilities.
  • Must be able to travel in a multi-state territory, up to 50% to 80% of the time, so the ability to operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid Driver’s license is required.
  • Must have a valid Driver’s license with a driving record that meets the company’s insurance requirements.
  • Must be able to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 40lbs.
